FastShot is a DotNetNuke module for displaying images as galleries or slideshows. It was designed to be fast and simple to use inside powerful IDE Editor. It takes minutes to setup!

What makes it so fast is the AJAX interface that delivers great power to add and edit items or simply order items by dragging and dropping them in placeholders. FastShot allows either to use portal images (by using provided File Manager) or freely input any URL. Deleting images in FastShot Studio is as easy as dragging and dropping them into RecycleBin to mark them for deletion. The images are not actually deleted until Empty Recycle Bin is clicked.

It also has a built-in mechanism for auto-generating thumbnails at high resolution. This saves precious time (with having to do thumbnails manually) or bandwidth (if scaling down the big image to act as the thumbnail). FastShot also takes caching into account when dealing with auto-generated thumbnails.

FastShot front-end rendering is fully configurable from XSL and CSS (additional templates can be defined in template folder and use them in different modules). There are several pre-built themes based on 4 scripts: LightBox, Galleriffic, SpaceGallery and s3Slider. Read more in Templates section.
